Kevin Corey | Executive Director

Kevin Corey is a native of Indiana and currently serves as the Executive Director of Wesley Chapel Mission Center. He is married to his best friend Nicole and they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Kevin was raised within a neighborhood much like where the center is located and remarks, “My passion to serve and love others was rooted in God’s commitment to me, which cannot be weighed or measured.” Kevin is a former DARE Officer, youth coach, and mentor. He documented his upbringing and faith in his book in 2019, “Core Redemption” Using your trauma to fuel your triumph.

Jonathan Garrett | Director of Operations

Introducing Jonathan Garrett, our dedicated and dynamic Director of Operations at Wesley Chapel Mission Center. With a strong Pentecostal background and a solid foundation in theology, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization. He is an alumnus of Cincinnati Christian University, where he honed his theological insights and cultivated his passion for community service. He served diligently at the university until its unfortunate closure in 2020 Beyond his professional commitments, Jonathan finds joy in cooking and music. Prior to joining Wesley Chapel Mission Center, Jonathan contributed his skills and charisma to Northern Kentucky University, leaving an indelible mark with his unique blend of humor and warmth. Armed with a Masters of Divinity in Theology, Jonathan brings a deep understanding of faith and compassion to his role. His dedication to community outreach, coupled with his genuine spirit, aligns seamlessly with the mission and values of Wesley Chapel Mission Center.

Maggie Heil| Director of Communications and Development

Maggie brings a unique blend of energy and expertise to our team. From Chicago, Maggie moved to Ohio for a degree in Public Relations from The University of Dayton. Coming from a family of seven, her childhood instilled the value she finds in a strong community and religion. She has a love for the outdoors and enjoys road trips. She continues to enjoy exploring Cincinnati and is so grateful for the opportunity to work at Wesley Chapel with our families and community. As the Director of Communications and Development, Maggie is poised to elevate our outreach efforts, ensuring that our message resonates with the hearts of those we serve.

Janine Shelborne | Director of Program

Janine has joined our Director Team after being a part of Wesley Chapel for 6 years. She began in our High School Program as a teacher, moved on to become the High School Coordinator and now she is the Director of Program. Her love of what Wesley Chapel Mission Center represents, her love for the children she works with and her love for Christ is what keeps her motivated to continue doing what God has called her to do. Janine is a native of Cincinnati, she has 4 wonderful children and 3 energetic grandsons. Her goal is to continue to reflect Jesus and put children first by helping them thrive in mind, body and soul. Janine truly embodies our mission here at Wesley Chapel, putting both Christ and creativity into each and every thoughtful action she does to make WCMC a welcoming place for our community.
